My Favorite Collaborative Platforms for Project Management

Currently the digital age has been submerging many industries within it. Not being in the office does not mean that everything is personal and you are not destined to carry out efficient and hard work. To the great surprise of many companies, the problem that the world faces today due to the cause of COVID-19 or Coronavirus, has generated a great alarm clock for the digital and technological era, the advance of many industries in times of isolation.

Overall data traffic on the telecommunications network is expected to exponentially, as companies will now engage in virtual interactions with their counterparts in regions that have been controlled by the virus. However, beyond the current problems, it is necessary to emphasize that digital is already so large it will be seen to come in the near future. It is less about what they are doing now and, instead, what their actions have as potential, that is, paving a whole path in the future, which is an important aspect for the times we are living.

Whether it’s video calls to discuss marketing strategies in times of crisis or simply to record essential internal work on time via the internet, the tech industry is showing good fruit in having the ability to function even in the most difficult circumstances.

Among many Collaborative platforms for project management, I’ll highlight four that are accommodating the continuation of many companies and are in my top favorites:

InVision

The best companies in the world use this collaborative platform to make the products you love. The most successful companies practice design principles in all teams, giving space to the transformation of business results. This Collaborative platform drives connected workflow, every step of the way. This InVision Enterprise team-based workflow gives you the shortest distance from ideation to launch, delivering products quickly.

When it comes to show the team my UI designs and receive feedback, Invision is the way to go. With awesome integrations with Sketch, Figma, Photoshop and even having their own app, InVision is hand all over UI/UX developement and sharing in their own platform for team collaboration is a big plus. Uplaod directly from your prototyping tool and creat flows in desktop and mobile ambients, interact with it it’s easy even for your non-tech savy team mates.

Trello

This Collaborative platform allows you to work in a more allied way, obtaining much more productive results. The structural design of this platform, such as cards, lists and boards, allow you to organize and prioritize your projects in a fun, flexible and clearly profitable way. It doesn’t matter if it’s for a job, project or even the next family vacation, Trello will help you keep your team fully organized. I even use it for my personal organization and have it on my phone.

Miro

Miro is a collaborative platform that enables placed, distributed and remote teams to communicate and collaborate between formats, tools, time zones and channels without any limitations of physical location, meeting space or whiteboard. It has a wide collection of ready-to-go templates, including a wireframe flow and a Sprint tool, for those familiar with this Google venture method. Also has great team functions like video chat, commenting, voting, adding notes, creating flow and ore. Definitively my team’s favorite. We even abandoned our old Podio Meeting App for a more dynamic whiteboard in Miro.

Monday

I just love Monday (but not Mondays), the UX, the integrations, their website, everything is beatifully crafted. It is a collaborative platform that enhances the remote work of your team at high levels. It will allow you to enjoy working on a platform that is 100% adapted to your needs, ensuring that the teams are in contact and empowered. Monday allows you to get the visibility you need to get everyone on the same page and keep track of all your dynamic tasks.

The great advantage for the world of industries that has been generated today is the increase in technological advancement for at least 5 years. What is expected to last as a consequence of the global health problem is Teleworking, which will lift the rise of collaborative platforms since they connect people in the middle of any distance. This in turn then highlights an asynchronous mode of work over synchronous mode of work, since it will no longer depend on time, which positions it as a clearly more productive mode of work.
